The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology division at Texas Children's Hospital is one of the few established programs for the surgical treatment of pediatric and adolescent gynecologic disorders in the United States and is the largest such program in Texas. In addition to the main campus and research centers in the Texas Medical Center, TCH includes community hospitals and pediatric urgent care centers throughout the Houston metropolitan area.

Summary

The Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking full-time faculty who share our commitment to equity and inclusion in our department and with the patient populations we serve. Candidates must be Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. For subspecialty positions, candidates must have completed fellowship in their respective area of training. Job Duties

  • Baylor College of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. The candidate will report directly to the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
  • Their primary clinical responsibility will be to provide Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology services at a TCH satellite campus and area health clinics. Between these sites, the candidate will be 90% clinical.
  • The candidate will cover Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology clinic and spend time in the OR (to make up 9 sessions/week), which can be scheduled to first come first serve time or assigned OR block time as case counts justify.
  • The candidate will assist the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology with Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology call coverage as assigned at the TCH satellite campus.
  • Multidisciplinary clinic coverage for the Hematology/Gynecology Clinic at the satellite TCH location and the development of new multidisciplinary clinics will be possible.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate must have an unrestricted Texas Medical license and be fully credentialed before starting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Fellowship training in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology or requisite experience in the field.
