Summary
Texas Children's Hospital is seeking an OB Anesthesiologist or an Adult Anesthesiologist who is OB focused, to staff our Women's services at our North Austin Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to help contribute to the clinical and academic excellence at Texas Children's Hospital. U.S. News & World Report has ranked Texas Children's Hospital on the prestigious Best Children's Hospitals Honor Roll for 2024-2025, also naming it No. 1 in Texas for the 16th consecutive year.
Texas Children's Hospital has built a state-of-the-art children's and women's hospital in North Austin, Texas which opened in February 2024. Initially, 52 inpatient beds will be available, including a Neonatal ICU, and Pediatric and Cardiac ICUs. Services include Neonatal Surgery, Fetal Center, Women's Unit with Labor and Delivery and Operating Rooms, Heart Center with Cardiac Operating Rooms and Catheterization Laboratory, Neurosurgery, and all major Pediatric Surgical Subspecialties. Texas Children's Department of Anesthesiology has created an Austin Division to provide high quality, state of the art care in all these areas.

Employment is through Baylor College of Medicine, reporting to the TCH North Austin Anesthesiology Division Chief, with additional oversight by the Anesthesiologist-In-Chief and TCH Community In-Chief Physician.
Required Education:
Medical School Degree; Residency in Anesthesiology; Fellowship in OB Anesthesiology or Current OB anesthesiology experience in lieu of OB specific fellowship. The successful candidate will be board certified/eligible in anesthesiology
