Job Description

Summary

The postdoctoral associate will focus on data collection and management of clinical projects on aortic disease research. The ideal candidate must have an MD, PhD or MD/PhD degree, and experience in clinical research.

Job Duties

  • Maintains study design and conductsdata analysis and interpretation in advanced endovascular aortic research within a collaborative, multidisciplinary research environment.
  • Develops research protocols, facilitates IRB processes, and contributes to the coordination of multicenter clinical research studies.
  • Conducts comprehensive prospective or retrospective clinical data collection and management of projects on aortic disease research, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedural data collection, CTA measurements, and ultrasound interpretation.
  • Writes manuscripts and presentsresults at both national and international professional conferences.
  • Oversees patient consent and completion of case report forms (CRFs) and assessment of quality-of-life questionnaires.
  • Oversees clinical data entry into electronic databases sourced from electronic medical records or other clinical databases, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
