NNSA Requirements for MedPEDs:
If you have a Medical Portable Electronic Device (MedPED), such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, drug-releasing pump, hearing aids, or diagnostic equipment and other equipment for measuring, monitoring, and recording body functions such as heartbeat and brain waves, if employed by Sandia National Laboratories you may be required to comply with NNSA security requirements for MedPEDs.
If you have a MedPED and you are selected for an on-site interview at Sandia National Laboratories, there may be additional steps necessary to ensure compliance with NNSA security requirements prior to the interview date.
Salary Range:
$157,100 - $267,000
*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire the HR Business Partner organization, steering strategic initiatives that align with Sandia’s vision and mission objectives. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Talent Management.
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
- Manage leaders and members of the workforce, including hiring, professional development, and assessment and performance management, consistent with the mission of the organization
- Foster creation and lead teams to trust oriented customer relationships while ensuring customer needs are satisfied and aligned with Sandia’s strategic plans
- Understand the work of organizations and connect the work and expertise with potential beneficiaries, collaborators, and customers
- Balance the acquisition and development of manager and staff resources and capabilities for both current and future projects and programs
- Actively partner with functional and business leaders to establish, implement, and assess short-term and long-term HR strategies for driving business results
- Lead HR activities and programs across the organization, define procedures and processes, and establish necessary safeguards while facilitating organizational change
- Provide comprehensive mentoring to executives and managers, helping cultivate a strong leadership pipeline, enhancing organizational performance, and fostering a culture of growth and development
- Provide strategic HR consultation services aimed at enhancing effectiveness, encompassing assessments, contracting, action planning, evaluations, and follow-up
The selected applicant can work a combination of onsite and offsite work. The selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary.
Qualifications We Require:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field, plus 10 years’ experience in Human Resources or a related field; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
- The ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance
Qualifications We Desire:
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field
- 5 years of demonstrated leadership and/or managerial experience
- Progressive HR leadership experience, with an emphasis on strategic HR business partnering
- Demonstrated experience in managing HR functions across multiple industries and locations, showcasing adaptability and a broad understanding of organizational cultures
- Proven experience working in both unionized and non-unionized environments
- Experience in both defense and commercial sectors, with a clear understanding of the unique HR challenges and opportunities within these industries
- A familiarity with Sandia's business and organizational management processes and rhythms
- A broad network of contacts and working relationships within Sandia and the external professional community
- Knowledge of Sandia Labs' missions, programs, culture, environment, and strategies

Security Clearance:
