Summary
Under the direction of the lab principal investigator, Bioinformatics Programmer I will formulate and define project scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop machine learning algorithms handling bulk and single-cell omics.

Job Duties
- Prepares detailed specifications and algorithms for bulk and single-cell data analysis and modeling.
- Implements and documents the above algorithms into end-to-end pipelines.
- Compares the implemented pipeline with alternative contemporary approaches.
- Applies the pipeline to biological datasets, and under supervision of the lab principal investigator, interprets the findings.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biological Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
