Job Description

Summary

A postdoctoral position is immediately available to study neural circuit mechanisms of learning and memory and their involvements in neurological and psychiatric disorders. The successful candidate will conduct electrophysiological experiments and perform data analysis. Candidates with background in physical sciences and engineering are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in electrophysiology or neural computation is preferred. We are looking for a scientist who shares our research interest and who is motivated by exciting science and eager to learn new skills.

Job Duties

  • Conducts research in neural circuit mechanisms of learning and memory.

  • Conducts electrophysiological and behavioral experiment in rodents.

  • Analyzes large-scale neural and behavioral data.

  • Interprets and reports results.

  • Operates and maintains relevant lab equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

The pre-selected candidate is Ahmet Uysal.
