Learning is a key enabler within every organization. You will play a critical role in managing the learning activities for personnel at all levels. You will be involved in a range of activities, from design and delivery of programs, conducting classes to training effectiveness evaluation. You will keep abreast with the latest learning and motivation theories to identify new and effective methods and techniques to consider.

You will continually improve training processes and collaborate with others by sharing your experiences. As a Learning Specialist, your knowledge and skills combined with your exceptional interpersonal ability will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your willingness to innovative using technology will enable learning to be transformed and will drive us to achieve our vision of increased engagement and efficiency in learning. This will ultimately lead to patients receiving their life-saving medicines faster.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to the completion of complex projects, managing your own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for work activities on your own projects within a team.
  • Partner with the central and functional teams to effectively design, develop and implement learning programs in support of business goals and site strategies. This is inclusive of training facilitation.
  • Partner with the central training team to innovate the learning space by harnessing emerging technologies (eg. virtual reality)
  • Provide oversight to ensure that colleagues and contingent workers are qualified to perform their responsibilities in different functional areas.
  • Conduct Human Factors analysis to improve systems reliability and performance.
  • Contribute to the goals of the training team through effective collaboration and enthusiasm to take training to a new level.

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific, educational or related discipline.
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Human factors and/or six sigma certifications.
  • 3+ years of experience (pharmaceutical environment preferred).
  • Experience with training and assessment within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong facilitation skills (face to face and/or online).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to build and maintain working partnerships with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead projects to successful outcomes.

Nice-to-Have

    • Excellent computer skills including experience with Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
    • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Experience with quality and/or EHS investigations in a regulated environment.
