The successful candidate:
This full-time job requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 5:30 AM and 6:30 PM. Weekend rotation is also required.
The Cook is responsible for preparing quality, nutritious, attractive, and appealing food and beverage products for customers and patients under specialized care. The Cook ensures alignment with the organization's established Food and Dietetic nutritional guidelines, complies with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and completes other daily tasks assigned by leadership.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
Culinary Arts education preferred
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage/Hospitality/High-volume hospital cafeteria setting, preferred
Ability to be flexible, adapting to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment and work as a team
Excellent customer services and communication skills, both written and verbal
Required Licensure/Certification
ServeSafe certification is preferred.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $21.90 / hour
