The Business Manager supports the administrative, operational, and financial performance for the Cherng Family Center for Integrative Oncology.

This position manages a variety of complex project planning, implementation, analysis, evaluation and reporting functions to support clinical, research, and education initiatives at the Cherng Family Center. Develops project plans to manage projects successfully to completion. Helps lead the management of strategic initiatives to improve productivity, capacity/utilization, resource management, and patient experience. Identifies and pursues performance improvement efforts and serves as primary point of contact for operational data and information. This position may manage and provide oversight of the staff.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Partner with clinical leaders and Integrative Medicine service providers to plan, implement, evaluate, and report on clinical programs
  • Support Cherng Center leaders and researchers in planning and implementing research initiatives including pilot funding program and fostering collaboration among Integrative Oncology researchers
  • Support Cherng Center leaders in planning, launching and evaluating Integrative Oncology training and education activities for clinicians, patients and the community
  • Proactively develop, track and analyze key performance metrics and report and make recommendations for improvement and growth
  • Manage project budgets and report on financial performance, and implement action plans if needed

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or related field
  • 3+ years of business/operations experience preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong financial analysis and project management skills

Additional Information:

Job Status: Full time, exempt

Salary range $ 90,812 - $151,652

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $43.66 - $72.92 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
