Creighton University College of Nursing Faculty - Assistant Professor

Creighton University College of Nursing seeks qualified candidates for a 9-month, full-time track faculty appointment for its on-site BSN program in Omaha, Nebraska.

The candidate will be expected to conduct classroom instruction in the BSN program as well as supervise students in clinical and simulation/lab experiences in the faculty’s area of clinical expertise. Flexibility to supervise students in community-based settings is expected. Faculty will also be expected to participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College’s standards of performance for rank and university expectations. Rank and salary are commensurate with academic credentials and experience.



Requirements

Candidates must possess a doctoral degree in nursing.
2 years of clinical nursing experience in their respective clinical areas required.
Experience in classroom, simulation instruction, the use of technology in classroom and lab instruction, and clinical supervision preferred.
Candidates must have a current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure.
