Job Description

Summary

Seeking a postdoctoral associate to lead innovative research projects focused on characterizing the neurodevelopmental disorder, CIC Haploinsufficiency Syndrome. Individuals with this syndrome have intellectual disability, seizures, autism, and ADHD. Our goal is to understand the cell types and genetics driving phenotypes in this disorder. The post doc will use mouse models to perform RNA-sequencing, chromatin profiling, histology, and biochemical analysis. 

Job Duties

  • Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
  • Evaluates and analyzes data.
  • Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
  • Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals. 
  • Maintains laboratory operations.
  • Supervises research staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • No experience required.
