Job Description
Summary
The Department of Molecular and Human Genetics is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate.They will use their expertise in Friedreich's ataxia to develop an independent project to study the biology of Friedreich's ataxia and explore new strategies for therapeutically targeting this devastating neurodegenerative disease. Techniques employed include chemical biology, molecular biology, and genome biology.
Job Duties
- Plans, directs and conducts specialized and advanced research experiments.
- Evaluates and analyzes data.
- Establishes new research protocols and procedures.
- Summarizes research findings and publish results in research journals.
- Maintains laboratory operations.
- Supervises research staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
- No experience required.
