Job Description
The Division of Interventional Radiology at the City of Hope seeks a fellowship trained academic interventional radiologist with an interest in a hybrid IR-DR position.
The position is for a full time, clinical position, practicing combined IR/DR at a world renowned comprehensive cancer center. Duties will be primarily at the City of Hope Orange County campus. You will work with a team of six other IR attending physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and a group of highly motivated and efficient nurses and technologists.An ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a breadth of IR procedures and body imaging interpretation. The candidate will split time between the IR and Body imaging divisions.
The IR division operates two hospital-based angio suites at the Helford hospital and a separate outpatient fluoroscopy suite on the main Duarte campus. The IR division also runs a dedicated IR clinic and full inpatient consult service that is facilitated by IR APPs and support staff. The City of Hope Irvine campus is a growing free standing outpatient facility. The IR division currently operates a state-of-the-art hybrid CT/Angio suite at this location. Further expansion of the City of Hope Orange County Cancer Center will include a new inpatient hospital and further dedicated IR facilities.
This position is a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary medical group practice with an emphasis on collegiality and teamwork.
Position Highlights:
· 50/50 IR/DR position, performing the breadth of IR with a focus on Interventional Oncology and participation in the body imaging section
· Call will be split evenly among the IR section

· Potential for incentive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan
· Base Salary Range: $441,600- $475K based on rank and experience. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications:
· Fellowship/integrated residency training in Interventional Radiology (IR) and current or anticipated board certification in IR are required.
· Applicants of all academic levels welcome
· Experienced with plain films, CT, MR,US, and PET/CT
· Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree
· Have or be willing and eligible to obtain appropriate license to practice
· The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license
