Position Summary

The Clinical Research Associate I (CRA) – The CRA is responsible for ensuring compliance to the research protocol and all appropriate regulations. They attend clinics, when required, and assists the Investigators and co-investigators with study management and ensure patient satisfaction and understanding with protocol requirements. The role takes an active part in patient recruitment; enrolls eligible participate to study, administers questionnaires, documents and audits informed consents, delivers of biospecimen kits to locations for collection and shipment. They maintain a system for effective consent and research activity tracking in collaboration with investigators, project/program managers, and other study staff. The CRA should have basic knowledge on medical terms, as the incumbent abstracts data from the medical record and completes paper and electronic case report forms for study, including responding to any requests for data clarification, and maintains all necessary source documents.

The CRA is a quick learner, comfortable and effective when communicating professionally with a diverse group of patients’, as well as with internal study team. They have the ability to work independently, in a team, and can adapt to new situations with ease.

Position Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.

One-year experience working in a health care setting, preferably in research.
