** Hybrid Remote. 1-2 days onsite in our Duarte Campus or Irvine location **

Position Summary

The Operations Program Manager will support the development, expansion, and implementation of strategic initiatives in support of City of Hope’s Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Program. The position will be responsible for managing the operational performance of the CDI Program in collaboration with Physician Leadership, HIMS leadership, and other CDI team members. This position will also partner with CDI Leadership to identify and prioritize projects to be undertaken to meet strategic CDI goals and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Manage COH CDI program including working with CDI leadership to define strategic direction
  • Develop and monitor key CDI performance metrics
  • Develop and maintain the timeline and implementation plan of the CDI program from a high-level and on a project-specified basis
  • Communicates program and project status and KPI performance to CDI Leadership and key institutional stakeholders
  • Run routine CDI Governance and Leadership meetings
  • Manage project plans and timelines
  • Manage daily tasks associated with program operations.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to maintain certification/licensure, and/or keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration.
  • Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
  • Two years of experience working in hospital operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Project management, required

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or Business Administration
  • Experience as project manager
  • PMP certification
  • Hospital and/or ambulatory operations

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $40.70 - $63.08 / hour

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
