Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Summary
This position is located within the field of Clinical Research in the OB/GYN department. Our department is covering the OB/GYN services at two hospitals (TCH PFW and BTGH). We are conducting dozens of high-quality clinical research studies on both sites with million dollars internal and external fundings. We are working diligently to help promoting women's health in multiple levels. This position serves as a leader for PeriBank study, work independently to manage significant aspects of the PeriBank study and and provide training and guidance to less experienced staff. He/she ensures accurate data/specimen collection, documentation, organization and safety of research participants. This position also determines effective strategies for promoting/recruiting research participants in long term clinical research.
Job Duties
- Manages assigned protocol by obtaining informed consent, collecting clinical data and specimens, and maintaining the database
- Maintains and organize research files and regulatory binders
- Oversees the data management of studies ensuring accurate study subject documentation
- Manages the team daily activities
- Trains and orients new/less experienced research staff
- Resolves all issues related to research study protocols
- Assists researchers to use PeriBank database for theirs researches
- After-hours and weekends on call may be needed
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- C and database experience
- Medical background and terminology
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership/management experience
