Job Description
Summary
Baylor College of Medicine’s Neuropsychology Section in the Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time psychometrician to administer and score neuropsychological tests to individual patients. The section employs 5 Neuropsychologists who provide services for the assessment of cognition and neuropsychiatric functioning in the context of dementia, movement disorders, cerebrovascular disease, mental health disorders, COVID-19, traumatic brain injury, and epilepsy.
Job Duties
- Administers one-on-one neuropsychological test batteries to individual patients.
- Scores the neuropsychological tests.
- Reports raw test scores to supervising neuropsychologist and assists in interpreting results.
- Drafts, revises, and finalizes protocol summaries and research study consent forms and submits them to BCM's Institutional Review Board.
- Maintains and updates neuropsychological measures, regulatory documents, procedures manuals, subjects' case report forms, and source documents.
- May recruit subjects or assists in research study efforts.
- Participation in quarterly departmental meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree in Psychology or related field.
- No experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters' degree in a related field.
- Experience in administering psychological and neuropsychological tests.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
