Summary
The Epidemiology Program is the largest program devoted to pediatric cancer epidemiology in the US. The Program currently has several funded research projects focused on pediatric cancer etiology and survivorship. This position provides much-needed support to several of these projects through the following activities. Coordinating and evaluating day-to-day data management and analyses needs of research protocols for the Epidemiology program and supporting research efforts of the program. Daily activities include database development, data monitoring, and data analyses as well as ensuring accurate data collection through data QA/QC.
Job Duties
- Supports daily operations for a research study or clinical trial.
- Recruits, screens, and enrolls study participants; ensures participant adherence to study protocol.
- Collects, evaluates, enters, and tracks data.
- Submits data, study documents, and/or reports to regulatory agencies.
- Assists with completion of protocol-specific documents.
- Establishes study files and prepares and oversees study-related documentation.
- May collect samples from participants.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of relevant experience.
