Job Description
Summary
Coordinates day to day activities of Research PI's for the T32 Grant which include screening, enrollment, and monitoring of grant activity (which is a $452,000 grant). Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and financial analysis of grant . May supervise, schedules and directs the activities of less experienced research personnel.
Job Duties
- Performs and oversees the daily operation of T32 grant and administrative duties.
- Manages and coordinates quality assurance and safety programs.
- Establishes work plan and schedule for research project.
- Manages inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
- Ensures the ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize business productivity.
- Oversees regulatory activities that lead to timely regulatory submission.
- Oversee or originate special projects or programs.
- May oversee or originate pre-award and/or post-award related projects and tasks in support of department faculty members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of successful strategies for revenue growth and expense control.
- Develop, manage, and control budgets and financial data. Establish financial and operational systems to monitor,
- control, and verify expenditures and carry out financial analyses.
- Develop staffing plans and productivity guidelines according to budget availability and department/unit needs
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.

- Previous experience with NIH Grants
