Job Description

Summary

Coordinates day to day activities of Research PI's for the T32 Grant which include screening, enrollment, and monitoring of grant activity (which is a $452,000 grant). Ensures accurate data collection, documentation, organization and financial analysis of grant . May supervise, schedules and directs the activities of less experienced research personnel.

Job Duties

  • Performs and oversees the daily operation of T32 grant and administrative duties.
  • Manages and coordinates quality assurance and safety programs.
  • Establishes work plan and schedule for research project.
  • Manages inventory of lab equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures the ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize business productivity.
  • Oversees regulatory activities that lead to timely regulatory submission.
  • Oversee or originate special projects or programs.
  • May oversee or originate pre-award and/or post-award related projects and tasks in support of department faculty members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of successful strategies for revenue growth and expense control.
  • Develop, manage, and control budgets and financial data. Establish financial and operational systems to monitor,
  • control, and verify expenditures and carry out financial analyses.
  • Develop staffing plans and productivity guidelines according to budget availability and department/unit needs
     

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with NIH Grants
