Job Description

Summary

The role is to coordinate day to day activities of research protocols in the Department of Neurosurgery, including screening, enrollment, and monitoring of research participants, ensuring accurate data collection, data and logistical organization, and working directly with research participants.

Job Duties

  • Interviews and recruits participants for the study, explains study processes and procedures.
  • Collects patient information, processes documents, enters information into data sharing repositories.
  • Collects, processes, and maintains biological recordings and video and audio files and data collected during research.
  • Maintains records and regulatory documents for research studies.
  • Schedules research participants for tests and procedures for the research protocol.
  • Orders supplies and equipment.
  • Manages patient compensation. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
