Job Description

Summary

The Center for Precision Environmental Health is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable part-time research assistant to support environmental epidemiology research projects related to maternal and child health outcomes. The primary responsibilities of this position including assisting the PIs in tasks related to data cleaning, data management, and data analyses. This position will also be responsible for programming and and analyses using statistical software (SAS and R), and summarizing results in tables, figures, reports and manuscripts.  
 

Job Duties

  • Curate epidemiologic data from multiple sources.
  • Conduct statistical analyses using distributed lag non linear models as well as linear and logistic regression. 
  • Documents and interprets results of statistical analyses and reports results to PIs.
  • Develops and modifies computer programs in SAS and R programming language. 
  • Compiles reports and tables of statistical results. 
  • Provides project management. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Basic Science or a related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Biostatistics or related field.
  • Two years of relevant experience, typically as a research assistant.
  • Experience with statistical software SAS and R.   
  • Experience in epidemiologic or population health research studies.
