Position Summary

This position develops, coordinates, and assists with the implementation of initiatives and projects that impact all areas of Facilities, Design & Construction. This position will be responsible for conducting operational and financial data analysis, developing project plans, and building and maintaining key operational. The Project Analyst will assist in gathering and analyzing data; developing, maintaining and executing on project timelines, documenting decision-making results and facilitating preparation of needed financial and operational analytics.

The incumbent will be responsible for communicating project status to all appropriate stakeholders and reporting on various success metrics to measure the success of the action items and decisions reached throughout the project management lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for assisting the Facilities Administration Leadership Team in the execution of project plans and operational goals within the enterprise.
  • Assist in the identification of quality, timeline, and financial measures to support development standardized dashboards for tracking progress across all initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project plans for key initiatives. Hold individuals accountable for following through on action items.
  • Manage daily tasks associated with implementation of initiatives
  • Assist in development of business cases for new programs and staffing requests across the various ambulatory teams.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence to develop dashboards in Tableau to support Access teams in their daily operations
  • Meet regularly with both service-line and community operations leadership to identify and standardize operational measures and establish dashboards/ scorecards to assist leadership in running operations
  • Provide monthly reports on new patient visit growth across the enterprise with deep dive into specific service lines and regions across the network
  • Assist the Manager of Business Operations in the operational assessment for location change requests.
  • Assist with performance improvement and patient experience activities. Provide support to departmental performance boards.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Process contracts within Ntracts as needed, working with vendors, Contract Management, Legal, and Operations.
  • Assist with miscellaneous data requests and projects as the need arises to support initiatives across the enterprise
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. Experience can substitute for educational requirement.
  • 2 years’ experience as a business or support analyst

Preferred education experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Business Administration
  • Proven experience in business or hospital operations.

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
