Job DescriptionSeveral fully funded postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Jorge Moscat to study different fundamental aspects of the metabolic and immunological crosstalk between the stroma and cancer cells in the tumor microenvironment of colorectal and liver cancer. The project is based on our recent publications on this topic: Duran et al. 2016, Cancer Cell 30, 595-609; Moscat et al., 2016, Cell 167, 606-609; Nakanishi et al., 2018, Immunity 49, 1132–1147, Reina-Campos et al., 2019 Cancer Cell 36, 218-235.
The Moscat Lab is relocating to Weill Cornell Medicine and is actively recruiting collaborators. The lab is located in Manhattan and will be fully operative in April 2020.
We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in this very competitive topic. The candidates should have extensive lab experience in molecular and cellular biology skills and with expertise in mouse models. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree.
